Donations from Private Foundations
Pacific Marine Foundation is fully qualified by the IRS as a public charity, and as such, can receive grants from private foundations. A grant to PMF can help us with our support of local youth programs while satisfying distribution requirements for the donor foundation.

Securities Donations
While cash donations are appreciated, Pacific Marine Foundation can also accept gifts of publicly traded securities. A donor can deduct the fair market value of the security as of the date of donation and against other income. There are some limitations on this, so we always recommend consultation with a professional tax advisor.
